What is it all about?
We want to provide Legal services for you at a price which is transparent and for which you can budget easily. The payments are monthly for the packages so there is no big hit to your business cash flow.
The packages are designed to give you an automatic reduction on your legal bill. You will receive an inclusive number of hours. The value of these at £196 per hour is more than the total you will pay.
AND we will give you a discount on everything you need after you have used your inclusive hours
What are the fee packages?
We recognise that some businesses have more legal needs than others. So we have split our prices into 3 packages
Package 1
You pay £60 pm for 12 months = £720.00
You receive 4 hours time at £196.00 per hour = £784.00
You immediately save £64.00 PLUS a 10% discount on additional hours or a quoted fee
Package 2
You pay £110pm for 12 months = £ £1320.00
You receive hours time at £196.00 per hour = £ 1372.00
You immediately save £52.00 PLUS a 15% discount on additional hours or a quoted fee
Package 3
You pay £200 pm for 12 months = £ 2,400.00
You receive 14 hours time at £196 .00 per hour = £2,744.00
You immediately save £344.00 PLUS a 20% discount on additional hours or a quoted fee
How do the fee packages work?
You can choose whichever fee package suits your budget and your legal needs. We will always be flexible if you need to change you package. Just talk to us.
You chose the package that suits you and pay the monthly amount into our bank account. Once you have used up the time we will tell you and you can choose either to upgrade the package and pay more per month or pay or quoted fees and receive your discount.
How do you know how much time is used?
You will have access to the exclusive members area on this web site where we will keep a record of the time we have spent for you, with the detail of how that time has been spent.
How do the discounts work?
You have a number of inclusive hours with your package. If you use them up you can talk to us about further work. We will give you a fee estimate for that work and will deduct the discount which is relevant to your package.
How do I pay for discounted work?
You pay for discounted work either during or when the work is completed. These payments will be in addition to the monthly payments associated with your package.
What about payments to third parties?
Whether or not we are working under a package or under a discount we will, if appropriate, ask you to give us the money to cover 3rd party fee, e.g. barristers, Court fees, search fees. These payments will be in addition to payments which you are making to us.
What if you don’t want to pay every month?
We will discuss payment methods with you. If you wish to pay for our services as you go then we will agree that with you
Do you have a contract with us?
Yes you do. That contract will be for the full amount of the annual fee which we are happy to accept is paid monthly. We will agree with you exactly what we are to do for you each time you instruct us.
What happens if the contract is ended?
In some circumstances either party may want to end the contract. If we have done work for you which has used up all of your inclusive time then we will require payment of the total contractual amount outstanding within 21 days of your last payment.
If we have not used up your inclusive hours then we will do a pro rata calculation based on £196 per hour of the time used. We will require payment up to that sum
Who will do your work?
My Business Lawyer is a trading name of The Law Practice (UK) Ltd. Your contract will be with The Law Practice. The Law Practice is regulated by the SRA and is fully insured. http://www.lp-uk.com/
What about work you don’t handle?
We will do our best to suggest a specialist who will be able to help you. That help will not have the benefit of our packages and you will have to agree the fees direct.
Is there anything else included?
Yes we will always have offers for you. Those offers will expand as our service grows.
What is your free surgery?
We offer a free surgery to businesses every Thursday between 1.00 -2.00pm in 10 minute slots. Consultation is by telephone. We will call you. You can book your slot online through this site
